Newmarket to Pearson — The Route We Know Cold
Newmarket sits at the northern edge of York Region, a community that has grown steadily over the past two decades without losing its own distinct identity. Residents here travel to Pearson for everything — business trips out of Toronto to international destinations, family vacations to Europe or the Caribbean, corporate connections that require an early-morning flight and a calm, professional arrival. Feel free to contact us directly if you have a group, an unusual schedule, or a question about meeting points. Whatever brings you to the airport, the right vehicle for the trip matters. We run a Luxury Sedan for up to three passengers, a Cadillac Escalade or Lincoln Navigator SUV for up to six, a Mercedes Sprinter Van for groups up to fourteen, and a Stretch Limousine for parties up to sixteen or any occasion where the ride itself is part of the evening. Browse our services to understand exactly what each vehicle includes. Every fare is quoted as a flat rate with HST and the 15% gratuity already locked in at booking — you pay at reservation, and the number at your door matches the one on your confirmation.
The route south from Newmarket to Pearson is about 72 kilometres by the most direct path, which puts you on Highway 404 heading south through Stouffville Road, then transitioning to Highway 401 westbound, or, more commonly, cutting across to Highway 400 southbound via the Bloomington Road area and then riding 400 down to Highway 409 into the airport. In light traffic — a Sunday morning, a midday Tuesday — you can cover that in around 45 minutes. Rush hour on a weekday, particularly the 400 southbound between Rutherford Road and the 401 interchange, can stretch it past 70 minutes without warning. We know the difference, and our drivers leave with time built in. Newmarket is home to Southlake Regional Health Centre, Rogers Communications has offices nearby, and Upper Canada Mall draws regional traffic that can slow Yonge Street approaches. We schedule pickups with all of that accounted for. This information is provided by the Toronto Airport Limo operations team, serving Newmarket and the Greater Toronto Area since 2009. Approximately 72 km from central Newmarket to Pearson International Airport. The precise distance varies slightly by pickup location within Newmarket — Davis Drive, Yonge Street corridor, Eagle Street area — but the difference is rarely more than 4 to 5 km.
Drive Time by Condition
Light traffic (early morning pre-6 a.m., weekend midday): 45 to 50 minutes. Normal weekday off-peak: 55 to 60 minutes. Weekday rush hour, especially southbound Highway 400 between Rutherford Road and the 401 interchange: 65 to 75 minutes. We schedule pickups with full buffer already built in.
Route and Highways
The most reliable route runs south on Highway 400 from Newmarket, crossing through Vaughan and into the 400/401 interchange, then westbound on 401 to Highway 409 which feeds directly into Pearson’s terminal ring road. On some runs, particularly evening trips avoiding the 400/401 merge, we use Highway 404 south to Highway 401 through Markham and then cut west.

What Newmarket Passengers Say About Toronto Airport Limo
I’ve been using Toronto Airport Limo from Newmarket for my quarterly Toronto flights for almost three years. The driver is always on Davis Drive early, and the flat rate means I don’t have to think about it. Exactly what a business traveler needs.
My flight from Phoenix landed two hours late because of a weather delay. I was fully expecting to scramble for a ride, but my driver was waiting in arrivals — he’d tracked the flight the whole time. That kind of service is rare.
Booked the Sprinter Van for a group of eleven from Newmarket heading to a week in Portugal. Pickup at 4 a.m. from three different addresses on the way south. Every stop was on time, every bag loaded without a fuss. The whole group was impressed.
Clean, quiet Lincoln SUV. The driver didn’t make me feel rushed even though I was clearly running a bit behind getting out of my house. He knew which 400 ramp to take and we made it to Terminal 1 with 20 minutes to spare.
I tried ride-share apps twice for Pearson and both times had last-minute cancellations at 5 a.m. Switched to Toronto Airport Limo and never looked back. Newmarket pickups, confirmed drivers, no cancellations ever.
Took the Stretch Limo with a group of eight for a bachelorette trip out of Terminal 3. The route from Newmarket down Highway 400 was smooth and the driver was professional the whole way. Made the start of the trip genuinely exciting.
The price I was quoted online was exactly what I paid. Not a dollar more. After years of airport taxis where the meter always seemed to find extra charges, this was genuinely refreshing.
We had a very early morning flight out of Terminal 1 — wheels up at 6 a.m. — which meant a 3:30 pickup from our place in Newmarket. Driver was there at 3:25, helped with luggage, and we had a calm, quiet ride down the 400. Perfect start to a long travel day.
I sent my parents from Newmarket to catch their return flight to Dublin. They’re not comfortable with apps or self-booking. The team handled everything, the driver was patient and kind, and they called me from the departure gate to say how well it went.
The Cadillac Escalade was immaculate. Four of us with full bags heading to Terminal 3 and there was no cramming or complaining — plenty of room. Driver took the 400/401 route and timed it well around the morning traffic.
Used them three times this year for work travel. Consistent, professional, and the app-based booking takes about two minutes. The flat rate from Newmarket to YYZ is fair for what you get.
Our flight back from Cancún was rerouted through Montreal and arrived nearly three hours late. Our driver tracked every leg and was standing at arrivals at Terminal 1 at the right time. Nobody from the family had to worry about the ride home.
I specifically appreciate the Meet and Greet service at Pearson. After a long overnight flight I don’t want to think — I just want to see someone with my name on a sign. That is exactly what happened, and the Lincoln was right outside.

Newmarket Airport Limo — Common Questions
Ready to Book
Toronto Airport Limo has been running the Newmarket to Pearson route since 2009. We know where the 400 slows on a Tuesday morning, we know which arrivals door to use at Terminal 1, and we know that a 4 a.m. pickup from Davis Drive is not the same as a noon pickup from a Newmarket side street. That accumulated knowledge is what you’re booking alongside the vehicle.
