Beaches Area to Pearson — The Route We Know Cold
The Beaches is one of Toronto’s most distinctive neighbourhoods — a lakeside strip of narrow lots, century homes, and an unusually relaxed pace for a city this size. Residents here tend to be professionals, creative workers, and long-time Torontonians who chose the east end specifically because it doesn’t feel like downtown. But when it’s time to travel — whether that’s a transatlantic business trip, a family vacation to somewhere warm, or an early-morning connection through Pearson — the Beaches is actually quite far from YYZ, and getting there without stress takes planning. You can read more about us and why so many Beaches residents keep calling us back. The vehicles we operate are chosen to match the kind of travel these passengers do: a Luxury Sedan for solo travellers or couples with up to 3 passengers, a Cadillac Escalade or Lincoln Navigator SUV for a family of up to 6, a Mercedes Sprinter Van for larger groups of up to 14, and a Stretch Limousine for up to 16 passengers or a special occasion. Browse our fleet to see the full lineup and specifications before you book. Every fare is flat-rated at booking — HST and 15% gratuity are already included, so the number you see is the number you pay, full stop.
From the Beaches, the most reliable path to Pearson runs west along Lake Shore Boulevard to the Gardiner Expressway, then onto the QEW westbound, before connecting north via Highway 427 to Airport Road. The total distance from Queen Street East and Woodbine Avenue to YYZ Terminal 1 is approximately 43 to 46 kilometres. In off-peak hours — say, a 4 AM departure pickup — the drive takes around 35 minutes. In morning rush, with the Gardiner backed up through Exhibition and the 427 slowing toward Dixon Road, plan closer to 55 to 60 minutes. Our drivers know the Beaches side streets and can pick up on Lee Avenue, Beech Avenue, or Eastern Avenue depending on where you are. This information is provided by the Toronto Airport Limo operations team, serving the Beaches Area and the Greater Toronto Area since 2009. Explore all our service areas across the GTA.

Why the Beaches Chooses Toronto Airport Limo
Four things that actually matter when you’re heading to Pearson.
Flat Rate — Guaranteed
The rate you see when you book the Beaches pickup is the rate on your receipt. We don’t adjust for traffic on the Gardiner, surge periods, or rain. Locked. Done.
CPIC Certified Drivers
Every driver passes a Canadian Police Information Centre background check before their first pickup. For Beaches families sending a child or an elder to the airport alone, that matters.
Real-Time Flight Tracking
We monitor your flight live. If your inbound connection from Calgary or Montreal runs late, your driver already knows. No calls from you required.
24/7 — Including Beach Days
Early August Sunday at 4 AM from a cottage rental on Beech Avenue? We’re there. The Beaches is one of the few neighbourhoods where weekend summer pickup times run as early as pre-dawn.
How Long Does Beaches Area to Pearson Airport Take?
Specific routes, real drive times, and what actually slows this trip down.
The Route
We pick up anywhere in the Beaches — Queen Street East, Kew Gardens area, the side streets between Woodbine and Victoria Park Avenue. From there, Lake Shore Boulevard West carries us to the Gardiner Expressway, and we run westbound past Exhibition Place, the CNE grounds, and through Liberty Village to the 427 interchange. North on 427 brings us straight to Airport Road and the Pearson terminal loop.
Terminals
Toronto Pearson serves both Terminal 1 (Star Alliance carriers — Air Canada, United, Lufthansa) and Terminal 3 (other international and US carriers). We confirm your terminal at booking. The two terminals are about 5 minutes apart by car on Airport Road.
Local Employers & Departure Patterns
A number of Beaches residents work in financial services downtown, in media and creative industries near Queen Street West, or at institutions like Toronto Metropolitan University and the CBC’s broadcast centre. Departure patterns tend to cluster around early Thursday and Friday flights for business travel, and Sunday evening returns from weekend destinations. We’ve seen the pattern for 15 years.
Also Serving the Greater Toronto East Area
We pick up across the east end and all surrounding communities.

I’ve been using Toronto Airport Limo from the Beaches for three years and never had a bad experience. The driver is always outside my place on Lee Avenue before I even come down with my bags. The flat rate means I’m never checking the app nervously watching the meter.
My flight from Frankfurt landed two hours late. I was dreading the call I’d have to make explaining the delay, but the driver had already tracked the flight and was waiting at arrivals with a sign. No extra charge, no drama. That’s exactly the service I need.
We booked the Sprinter Van for a family group of 11 heading to YYZ from the Beaches for a Cuba trip. Everyone fit comfortably with all the luggage, and the driver picked us up right on Queen Street. Could not have been smoother for a group that size.
I had a 5:30 AM departure and was genuinely nervous about finding a reliable car that early from the east end. The driver showed up at 3:45 AM on Beech Avenue, car warm, no fuss. Made my flight with time to spare.
Used the SUV for a work trip with two colleagues from our Beaches office. We needed to stop briefly at a Danforth location to grab documents — no problem at all, arranged in advance. The en route stop fee was clearly explained on booking. No surprises.
The booking process is genuinely simple. I entered my address near Kew Gardens, picked my vehicle, and got a confirmation email within minutes. No phone tag. Driver was on time and the car was spotless.
I’ve done this trip with Toronto Airport Limo four times in the past year, always from the same street in the Beaches. Every driver has been professional, quiet, and focused on getting me to Terminal 1 with time to breathe before boarding. It’s become my default.
Booked the Stretch Limo for a bachelorette departure to Vegas — six of us heading to the airport in style. The driver handled the chaos of six excited women and piles of luggage with total calm. The Beaches send-off was perfect and everyone arrived on time.
I’m a frequent traveller and I’ve tried most of the limo services in Toronto. Toronto Airport Limo is the only one where I don’t have to wonder whether the driver will actually show up. Consistent, punctual, and honest about pricing upfront.
My elderly mother needed to get to Pearson alone for a flight to visit family. I arranged a Meet and Greet so the driver would be waiting inside arrivals on her return. She called me saying the driver was kind, patient, and waited while she found her bag. That peace of mind is priceless.
Quick and easy ride from our condo near Woodbine Beach. Lake Shore was smooth at that hour and we made it to Terminal 3 in just over 35 minutes. Flat rate meant we split the cost between two of us and it was extremely reasonable compared to a rideshare during a storm surge.
My flight was delayed by Air Canada and pushed back by 90 minutes. I called to let them know and they had already rescheduled the pickup. No fee, no attitude. Just good service. I’ve recommended Toronto Airport Limo to at least four neighbours since.
Clean car, knowledgeable driver, fair price. We went via Lake Shore and the Gardiner and the driver knew exactly when to leave to beat the worst of the rush. Got to Pearson with 90 minutes before departure — exactly as planned.
