Amherstburg to Pearson Airport Limo Service
Most Amherstburg passengers book two to three hours ahead of their planned departure time and the ones who’ve used us before book the night before. For an early morning flight out of Terminal 1 or Terminal 3, a 4 a.m. curbside pickup in Amherstburg is routine for us. You can read more about us to understand how we’ve structured our dispatch for southwest Ontario. The pickup is clean: the driver is at your door, not circling the block, and the car is already warm in winter. That detail matters more than people expect when you’re dragging luggage to the curb at 3:45 in the morning.
We run four vehicles on this route depending on how many people are travelling. A Luxury Sedan handles up to 3 passengers, the Cadillac Escalade or Lincoln Navigator SUV fits up to 6, the Mercedes Sprinter Van takes groups up to 14, and the Stretch Limousine covers parties or larger groups up to 16. You can browse our fleet to see exactly what each vehicle looks like before you book. The flat rate is locked the moment your reservation goes through HST and gratuity are already in that number, and nothing changes at the drop-off curb regardless of what the 401 does that morning.
Amherstburg sits at the southwestern tip of Ontario, tucked between the Detroit River and Lake Erie. The drive to Pearson runs roughly 340 km and typically takes between 3 hours 50 minutes and 5 hours 15 minutes depending on traffic. You leave town via Alma Street north to County Road 10, then pick up Highway 3 east before merging onto the 401. From the 401 on-ramp near Windsor, it’s a straight run east to the QEW interchange or the 403 split near Hamilton, then up the 427 or 427/QEW to Airport Road. The 401 through Woodstock and Milton can be brutal between 7 and 9 a.m. when we leave Amherstburg early, we build that buffer in deliberately. Our drivers have made this run enough times to know where the delays stack and when to push through versus when to give the QEW a try instead near Burlington. Passengers with flights through FCA, Ford Motor Company plants in Windsor-Essex, or family in the region often use us for groups. The flat rate stays flat no matter which terminal or what time your gate opens. This information is provided by the Toronto Airport Limo operations team, serving Amherstburg and the Greater Toronto Area since 2009.

How Long Does Amherstburg to Pearson Airport Take?

The Route
From Amherstburg, the route heads north on Alma Street to County Road 50 or County Road 10, then east along Highway 3 through Harrow and Ruthven before connecting to the 401 east of Windsor near the Ojibway or Walker Road interchange. From that point it’s a sustained 401 run through Tilbury, Chatham, Woodstock, and on through to Cambridge. Near Milton, the 401 splits we use the 403 east to the QEW or continue to the 427 north to Dixon Road and the terminal approach depending on traffic that morning. The 401 between London and Kitchener has been patchy with construction over the past two years. We check it every morning before departure.
Traffic Patterns
The worst window on this route is a 7 to 9 a.m. departure from Amherstburg that puts you inside Milton and Mississauga traffic at its peak hour. We advise leaving by 5:30 a.m. for morning flights to give yourself a genuine buffer at the airport. Winter is the other variable: the 401 between Tilbury and Chatham is exposed farmland, and when a January squall comes off Lake Erie, visibility drops fast. Our drivers know when to slow down and when to call it for time. That’s not something a rideshare app can do.
Terminal Information
Pearson International Airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 handles Air Canada, Air Transat, and most international carriers. Terminal 3 serves WestJet, Sunwing, Swoop, and several U.S. carriers. When you book, we confirm which terminal your flight departs from so your driver goes to the right curb. Both terminal drop-offs are curbside we do not drop at the general lot. If you want a driver to walk inside with a sign, the $45 Meet and Greet service covers that.

I’ve used Toronto Airport Limo three times from Amherstburg in the past two years. The driver is always at my door exactly when scheduled, and the sedan is spotless. The flat rate is what sealed it for me I budgeted $750 and paid exactly $750. No surprises.
Our family of five needed to get to Pearson for a connecting flight to Lisbon. The Navigator SUV had more than enough room for five adults and our luggage. Left Amherstburg at 4 a.m., made it with two hours to spare. The driver knew exactly where the 401 was clear that morning.
My flight was delayed two hours and the driver waited without charging extra for the first fifteen minutes. By the time we worked it out, I’d changed my departure date and they rebooked me without any hassle. That level of flexibility is hard to find at this distance from the airport.
Booked the Sprinter Van for a corporate group trip twelve people from the Essex area heading to a conference out of Terminal 1. Every single seat had ample legroom, the van was on time at our first stop, and the driver navigated the 401 corridor to Mississauga without a single wrong turn.
I travel for work through Pearson at least twice a month. I switched to Toronto Airport Limo from Amherstburg because the flat rate made expense reporting dead simple. $750, all in. My finance department actually thanked me for the clean invoice.
We used the Stretch Limo for our anniversary trip flew out of Terminal 3. The stretch pulled up to our house on Fryer Street and my wife absolutely loved it. Felt like a proper send-off. Booking was easy online and the confirmation came within minutes.
I got stranded at Pearson after a missed connection and called to arrange a return pickup. Dispatch answered on the first ring at 11:30 p.m. and had a driver at Terminal 1 within 90 minutes. For a ride back to the Windsor area, that’s genuinely fast response time.
The driver tracked my incoming flight from Calgary, saw it was landing 35 minutes late, and showed up at exactly the right time. I didn’t have to text anyone. He was at the arrivals level with a sign. That’s exactly what Meet and Greet should feel like.
I’ve tried cheaper options for the Amherstburg to Pearson run and regretted every one of them. A rideshare surge on a Monday morning cost me more than the flat rate here. I’m not making that mistake again. This is our family’s go-to for airport trips now.
Scheduled a 5 a.m. pickup for an early WestJet departure out of Terminal 3. The Escalade arrived at 4:52, driver loaded the bags without being asked, and we hit the road without delay. Got to Pearson with ninety minutes to clear security comfortable, not rushed.
I’m a frequent flyer and use airport limo services in several cities. The quality here is consistent clean vehicle, professional driver, accurate timing. The fact that gratuity is already included in the quoted price is a detail I genuinely appreciate.
We booked for a group of eight flying out of Terminal 1 a family holiday trip. The van had plenty of space for everyone and four large suitcases. The driver was patient at our second pickup stop and made the whole experience feel effortless before a long international flight.
January travel from Amherstburg means unpredictable weather. Our driver called ahead to let us know he was leaving early as a precaution given ice on the 401 near Tilbury. We still made our flight. That kind of proactive thinking is not something you get from a taxi app.
